• We hire enthusiastic people that care about the work they do. We don’t have to beg them to work hard. Every person has:
• A clear description of responsibilities and deliverables.
• A clear picture of what success looks like
• A regular assessment of their performance 

• A clear picture of where their role takes them
• We let the rope out early. For leaders with a “give me a shot” attitude, we give them the ball early and coach them all the way to the end zone. Sometimes that means we run beside them to the end zone. And later it may mean we watch from the skybox and debrief after the game is over.
• Bench depth of team and customers is important. We need enough customers that we can lose one and keep rockin’.  We need enough of a team to easily call someone up when a leader leaves. 
• We pay generously on profitable growth. 
• Authenticity is a leadership must-have. Our team deserves authentic leaders that are personable and fun to work with. If a team member is losing ground, they deserve to know it and have a shot at improvement. If it’s still not working, we shoot them straight with lots of kindness and clarity.
• Someday, the job will end. We treat each other today in a way that we will be proud of later when we no longer work here.

• The business is either debt free or on a plan to become debt free.
